First appearing in the hit Xbox and PC game, Knights of the Old Republic II (2004), Brianna (or “The Last Handmaiden”) was an Echani fighter who served under Jedi Master Atris during the years following the Jedi Civil War. After becoming acquainted with the Jedi Exile, Meetra Surik, Brianna was ordered to accompany the lone Jedi on her quest to discover survivors of the First Jedi Purge.

Legacy

After instructing Surik in the art of Echani battle techniques and styles, Brianna was later trained in the Jedi arts, receiving extensive training by Surik. In response, Brianna later became a key member of the new Jedi Order following the Purge, despite betraying her oath to serve under Atris (an act that resulted in confrontation shortly after). Although little is known about Brianna in the years and decades that followed Knights of the Old Republic II, Darth Traya predicted that the young Jedi would later fulfill “Atris’s role as historian, teaching future Padawans about the Jedi” (starwars.fandom.com).

Personality and Traits

Described as loyal, devoted, and trustworthy, Brianna was also characterized as quiet, reserved, and reclusive by her companions in Knights of the Old Republic II. Possessing a slim and athletic appearance, icy blue eyes, and snow-white hair, Brianna is easily one of the most attractive women of Star Wars.

9. Mira

  • Born: 3974 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin)
  • Death: Unknown
  • Hair Color: Red
  • Eye Color: Hazel
  • Skin Color: Light
  • Species: Human
  • Affiliations: Mandalorian Neo-Crusaders; Jedi Order; Galactic Republic
  • Appearances: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II; Star Wars: The Old Republic

First appearing in the hit Xbox game, Knights of the Old Republic II (2004), the beautiful Mira served as a Mandalorian bounty hunter from the planet Nar Shaddaa. After joining forces with Meetra Surik, following her pursuit of a bounty on the lone Jedi, it was later discovered that Mira was Force Sensitive. Under Surik’s guidance, the former bounty hunter began extensive training “in the ways of a Jedi Sentinel” (swtor.fandom.com). Alongside her new companions, Mira played a pivotal role in rebuilding the Jedi Order (following the First Purge of the Jedi).

Legacy

Although little is known about Mira’s life following the events of Knights of the Old Republic II, it is believed that she later died around the year 3951 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin); an event predicted earlier by Darth Traya. According to Traya, Mira’s death occurred several years after her adventures with Surik “on a forgotten planet, saving the lives of others” (starwars.fandom.com).

Personality and Traits

Described as a “fast-talking, no-nonsense woman,” with a dry wit and “lots of attitude,” Mira was known in the Star Wars universe for her remarkable insight and skills (in particular, with tracking and demolition). Despite her tough talk, however, Mira also possessed a deep sense of compassion for others, and refused to kill individuals unless it was deemed absolutely necessary. This compassion likely resulted from her experiences on Malachor V, where she had experienced tremendous loss in regard to family.

Aside from her personality, Mira was also known for her remarkable beauty (making her a clear choice for this particular list). Often dressing in “tight, revealing leather,” Mira often used her feminine physique to distract her enemies (and potential bounties). With her light skin, hazel eyes, and dark red hair, Mira is a beautiful (but deadly) addition to the Star Wars universe.

First appearing in Timothy Zahn’s novel, Heir to the Empire, the gorgeous Mara Jade Skywalker is one of the most popular figures of the Star Wars Expanded Universe due to her natural beauty, skill, and connection to Luke Skywalker. Despite her early role as an imperial assassin under Emperor Palpatine, Mara Jade later worked as a smuggler, and eventually became a Jedi Master on the Jedi High Council in the years that followed.

Legacy

After becoming acquainted with Luke Skywalker, Mara Jade slowly developed respect for the young Jedi as the two worked alongside one another on numerous occasions. Around the year 19 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin), both Luke and Mara Jade recognized that their feelings for one another had grown beyond the realm of friendship. After declaring their love, the two vowed to remain together for the rest of their lives. Following their marriage, Mara Jade took Skywalker’s name as her own, and devoted her life to the ways of the New Jedi Order.

Personality and Traits

Described as proud, devoted, and highly efficient, Mara Jade was also characterized in the Star Wars universe as calm, compassionate, and warm. This sense of compassion was even true during her years under Emperor Palpatine (as an assassin), as she showed mercy to a wide array of individuals considered enemies to the Galactic Empire.

Combined with her relatively short stature, emerald-green eyes, reddish-gold hair, and freckled skin, Mara Jade Skywalker is widely considered one of the most beautiful women of the Star Wars universe. To this day, she continues to be a favorite of fans (male and female) everywhere.

  • Affiliations: Jedi Order; Galactic Republic
  • Appearances: Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic; Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic II; The Old Republic: Revan; Star Wars: The Old Republic; The Betrayal of Darth Revan

First appearing in the hit Xbox game, Knights of the Old Republic, the beautiful Bastila Shan was a young Jedi Knight who gained fame for her unique “Battle Meditation” ability. During the Jedi Civil War, Bastila was handpicked to lead a strike team against the evil Darth Revan. Following unforeseen events, Bastila and her team succeeded in capturing the Sith Lord; bringing his nearly lifeless body before the Jedi Council on Dantooine. Stripping Revan of his memories, the Jedi Council (along with Bastila Shan) later retrained Revan in the ways of the Jedi; sending him and Bastila on a mission to defeat Darth Malak and discover the origins of the massive Sith fleet.

Legacy

Following Malak’s defeat at the Star Forge, little is known about Bastila’s life in the years that followed. Nevertheless, it is believed that Bastila later married Revan; having several children before her husband departed for the unknown regions of space. She later served as a Jedi Master for a brief period of time as well.

Personality and Traits

With fair skin, grey eyes, and light brown hair, Bastila is one of the most beautiful figures to grace the Star Wars universe. Despite her beauty and mastery of the Jedi arts, however, Bastila was also described as “brash, impulsive, and somewhat overconfident” by her peers; traits that later led to her fall from the Jedi Order (starwars.fandom.com).

Captain Juno Eclipse first appeared in the hit video game, The Force Unleashed (2008); serving as the personal pilot to Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, Starkiller. Born in the year 19 BBY on the planet Corulag, Eclipse eventually joined the Imperial Military, where she became a cadet at the prestigious Corulag Academy. After enlisting in the Imperial Navy shortly afterwards, Eclipse quickly attained the rank of Captain after demonstrating a remarkable aptitude for flying; a feat that garnered the attention of Darth Vader who then promoted her to lead his infamous “Black Eight Squadron.” Eclipse was later reassigned to pilot the Rogue Shadow, where she became acquainted with the secret Sith assassin known as Starkiller.

Legacy

Following numerous operations with the secret apprentice, Starkiller and Eclipse developed an emotional attachment that overcame their shared loyalty to the Empire. Following Vader’s betrayal of his apprentice, Eclipse actively helped Starkiller (Galen Marek) in forming a rebel movement against the Empire; an act that later resulted in Starkiller’s untimely death. To honor his death, Eclipse later joined the Rebel Alliance where she became captain of the Rebel flagship known as the “Salvation.”

Personality and Traits

Juno Eclipse was often described as curious by nature, with an unwavering sense of loyalty, morality, and pride. Tall and slim, the beautiful Juno Eclipse dazzled Star Wars fans in the early 2000s with her light skin, blue eyes, and natural blonde hair. Combined with her British-style accent, Eclipse is easily one of the hottest characters of the Star Wars Universe.

5. Shaak Ti

  • Born: Unknown
  • Death: 19 BBY
  • Hair Color: N/A
  • Eye Color: Dark Grey/Blue
  • Skin Color: Red
  • Species: Togruta
  • Affiliations: Jedi Order; Galactic Republic
  • Appearances: Star Wars: Attack of the Clones; Star Wars: The Clone Wars; Star Wars Journeys: Beginnings; Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes; Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy – A Graphic Novel

Shaak Ti was a Jedi Master that first appeared in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones (Episode II). Classified as a Togruta from the planet Shili, Shaak Ti served as a Master on the Jedi Council during the final years of the Galactic Republic. Later becoming a central figure in the Clone Wars, Ti played an instrumental role in the training and supervision of clone cadets on the planet Kamino. As the war began to draw to a close, Shaak Ti was able to balance her military and Jedi duties (on the Council) with greater efficiency.

Legacy

Shaak Ti participated in numerous battles throughout the Clone Wars, helping the Republic achieve several military victories over the Separatists. Despite her efforts, Ti was eventually killed by Darth Vader during his assault on the Jedi Temple (following the implementation of “Order 66” by Sheev Palpatine).

Although Shaak Ti appears in the hit video game, Star Wars: The Force Unleashed (where she confronts Darth Vader’s secret apprentice, known as Starkiller), Disney no longer recognizes this story as canon; placing her death at approximately 19 BBY.

Personality and Traits

Described as extremely wise and patient, Shaak Ti was known for both her teaching abilities and skills with a lightsaber. She also maintained remarkable Force abilities, including telekinesis. Combined with her natural sense of echolocation, Ti was a powerful Jedi Master capable of holding her own against most foes.

Possessing greyish-blue eyes, along with red skin that was accentuated by white and gray markings, Shaak Ti maintained a substantial level of attraction. It wasn’t until the video game, The Force Unleashed, however, that Ti’s true sex appeal is noticeable. Donning a revealing outfit, Shaak Ti showcases a beautiful (and extremely sexy) look unmatched in the Star Wars universe.

"I am a Jedi, where the individual and the group are one and the same—much like you clones."

4. Aayla Secura

  • Born: Unknown
  • Hair Color: N/A
  • Eye Color: Hazel
  • Skin Color: Blue
  • Species: Twi’lek
  • Affiliations: Jedi Order; Galactic Republic
  • Appearances: Star Wars: Attack of the Clones; Star Wars: Galactic Defense; Star Wars Journeys: Beginnings; Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes; Star Wars: Battlefront II; Star Wars: The Clone Wars; Star Wars: The Prequel Trilogy – A Graphic Novel

Aayla Secura was a Jedi Master and Jedi General that first appeared in Star Wars: Attack of the Clones. A former Padawan of Quinlan Vos, Secura quickly attained the rank of Master by the onset of the Clone Wars. As war spread throughout the galaxy between Confederate and Republic forces, Secura was given control of the 327th Star Corps. With the aid of Commander CC-5052 (“Bly”), Secura and her troopers participated in numerous battles, securing a multitude of victories for the Republic (starwars.fandom.com).

Legacy

As the Clone Wars drew to a close, Aayla Secura helped lead a massive invasion on the Outer Rim planet of Felucia. However, before victory could be achieved, Supreme Chancellor Palpatine quietly issued “Order 66” to be carried out against all Jedi. Commander Bly, having received these orders, quickly ordered his troops to open fire on Secura who was shot repeatedly before she could draw her lightsaber in defense. In turn, she became one of the first victims of the Jedi purge.

Personality and Traits

Aayla Secura was considered highly intelligent, mischievous (yet compassionate), and a master of lightsaber combat. Coupled with her agility, Secura was capable of outwitting (and outperforming) nearly any opponent during her time as a Jedi Knight and Jedi General.

In addition to her mental acumen, Secura was considered quite attractive as well. Possessing a blue skin tone, accentuated by long head-tails and hazel eyes, Secura is easily one of the sexiest women of the Star Wars universe.

3. Oola

  • Born: Unknown
  • Hair Color: N/A
  • Eye Color: Black
  • Skin Color: Green
  • Species: Twi’lek
  • Affiliations: Jabba Desilijic Tiure’s Criminal Network
  • Appearances: Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Episode VI); Star Wars: The Original Trilogy – A Graphic Novel; Return of the Jedi: Beware the Power of the Dark Side; The Legends of Luke Skywalker

Oola was a Twi’lek slave that worked as a dancer for Jabba the Hutt. First appearing in Star Wars: Return of the Jedi (Episode VI), little is known about Oola other than basic details (as her character only appears briefly during Return of the Jedi). Nevertheless, it is believed that Oola was originally born on the planet Ryloth to a clan chieftain. Devoted to dancing, she eventually made the activity a career, pursuing work on Tatooine once she was old enough to leave her home world.

Oola’s success on Tatooine was limited, however, as she quickly fell out of favor (due to a jealous rival), and was later forced to enter slavery under Jabba the Hutt. It is unknown how long she remained in Jabba’s palace. Nevertheless, her demise came swiftly during a live performance by the Max Rebo Band. Refusing Jabba’s advances during a dance, Jabba retaliated by feeding Oola to his pet Rancor; thus, ending the life and career of the young Twi’lek in the blink of an eye.

Characteristics

In Return of the Jedi, Oola is portrayed by Femi Taylor who worked as a dancer and actress. When Oola first appears on-screen during the movie, she is sporting a skimpy fishnet garment; showcasing her beautiful green skin, slim body, and black eyes. For Star Wars fans everywhere, Oola continues to be one of the sexiest women of the Star Wars universe, despite her short-lived appearance.

2. Princess Leia Organa

  • Born: 19 BBY (Before the Battle of Yavin)
  • Death: 35 ABY (After the Battle of Yavin)
  • Hair Color: Brown
  • Eye Color: Brown
  • Skin Color: Light
  • Species: Human
  • Affiliations: Skywalker Family; Rebel Alliance; New Republic; Jedi Order; Resistance
  • Appearances: Star Wars: A New Hope; Star Wars: Force Arena; Star Wars: Galactic Defense; Star Wars: Battlefront II; Star Wars: Galaxy of Heroes; Star Wars: Revenge of the Sith; Ahsoka; Battlefront: Twilight Company

Princess Leia (or Leia Organa) was the twin sister of Luke Skywalker whose political and military career spanned multiple decades. First appearing in Star Wars: A New Hope (Episode IV), Leia was the daughter of Padme Amidala and Anakin Skywalker (later Darth Vader). Considered one of the primary leaders of the Rebel Alliance in their fight against the evil Galactic Empire, Princess Leia played a vital role in the defeat of the First and Second Death Stars, as well as the establishment of a New Republic following the demise of Palpatine and his fallen Empire. Following instruction by her brother, Luke, Leia even managed to learn a great deal about the ways of the Force. Despite advanced training, however, she quickly neglected Jedi training in favor of her political career and newfound family life alongside Han Solo.

Legacy

In addition to her illustrious career in politics, Leia is also known for her connection to Ben Solo (her son) who fell victim to the Dark Side; emerging as a leader to the First Order. Realizing that the evil First Order needed to be stopped at all costs, one of Leia’s final actions involved systematically training Rey in the ways of the Force, and sacrificing herself to help redeem her son (Ben Solo) from the Dark Side.

Personality and Traits

Princess Leia was considered highly intelligent, quick-witted, and well-attuned to the rigors (and requirements) of good leadership. She was also a gifted speaker, natural pilot, and well-trained in the use of blasters (rarely missing her targets). Although stubborn to a fault, Leia never allowed personal needs to outweigh her duties and commitments to the galaxy at large. As a result of these personality traits (and abilities), Leia was able to play a pivotal role in the success of the Rebel Alliance as well as the survival of the Resistance in latter years.

Metal Bikini

In addition to her mental acumen, Leia was also quite attractive. Played by Carrie Fisher, one of Leia’s sexiest moments involved her infamous “metal bikini” scene at Jabba the Hutt’s Palace (Return of the Jedi). Comprised of a series of robes, a brass brassiere, and thong (hidden by the robes), this promiscuous outfit is considered one of the most sought out Star Wars costumes by female fans everywhere. As a result, few can argue against the logic of Princess Leia being one of the sexiest women of the Star Wars universe.

1. Darth Talon

  • Born: Unknown
  • Hair Color: N/A
  • Eye Color: Yellow
  • Skin Color: Red with Black Tattoos
  • Species: Lethan Twi’lek
  • Affiliations: One Sith; Sith Empire
  • Appearances: Star Wars: Legacy (Comic Series)

Darth Talon first appeared in the Legacy comic book series as a Sith under the tutelage of Darth Krayt. Considered both beautiful and deadly, Talon was renowned for her remarkable loyalty and steadfast devotion to the Dark Side. As a “third-generation Sith,” Talon grew up in the Sith Academy at Korriban (starwars.fandom.com). Originally serving as an apprentice to Darth Ruyn, Talon’s natural abilities with the Force allowed her to advance quickly, earning the respect and admiration of the “One Sith” founder, Darth Krayt. After striking her master (Ruyn) down as a test of loyalty to the Sith Order, Talon was immediately promoted to the rank of “Hand,” making her one of Krayt’s most trusted assassins (starwars.fandom.com).

Legacy

Darth Talon played a major role in galactic events during her era. Following a series of notable encounters with Cade Skywalker – who she later took on as an apprentice for a short time – Talon was later betrayed by Skywalker (who managed to eventually kill Krayt in a duel). In the wake of her master’s death, Talon was forced to pledge allegiance to a new master known as Darth Nihl, who ordered her to disappear and secretly infiltrate planetary governments for the Sith cause.

Personality and Traits

As with most Sith, Darth Talon was considered both cold and ruthless, demonstrating unshakable loyalty to her emperor. Despite her fanatical devotion to the Sith Order, however, Talon lacked leadership skills and the capacity for independent thought due to indoctrination from a young age. Nevertheless, she was considered a powerful foe in combat with remarkable skills in lightsaber combat and Force techniques (such as Force lightning, Force push, and Force concealment).

Sporting a wide array of black tattoos over the entire length of her body, Talon’s clothing consisted of very little (in order to provide her with maximum flexibility and agility). This included a high-cut bikini-style bottom, along with a black brassiere top, gloves, and boots. Combined with her sensual nature, Darth Talon is easily considered the sexiest woman of the Star Wars universe.

Conclusion

In closing, it is clear that women continue to play a vital role in the shaping of the Star Wars universe. Although many of these characters are renowned for their feminine beauty and charms, however, it should also be noted that their roles are often far deeper than they first appear and offer substantial elements to both plotlines and general storytelling, alike. With numerous Star Wars movies, books, and video games already entering development, it will be interesting to see what new and exciting female characters will emerge in this vast galaxy that is so far, far away.
