Have you ever been to a Renaissance Fair? Or maybe Medieval Times? I’ve personally never been to the second, but I’ve always wanted to go because it seems like such amazing fun. You get dinner and a show and it isn’t your typical evening out, but rather a spectacle of knights showing off for their ladies, kings and queens greeting you for the meal, and of course as much mead and ale as you can stand.
But one thing I’ve always wondered is how people in the crowd ever manage to capture someone’s attention, particularly the knight’s, which is one way to catch a ‘favor’ aka a rose. However, it seems like one TikTok creator’s (Kinz of ShelbAndKinz) boyfriend has figured out the solution and it’s rather… unusual.

Now, to start off, I’d like to say that this trick isn’t going to work for everyone, nor should it. In fact, for the most part, I would actually NOT encourage it. Luckily for Kinz boyfriend it did work, and spectacularly so.
To start off, Kinz’s boyfriend is… Well, he’s pretty darn built. You could tell me he was one of the knights and I wouldn’t have batted an eyelash. This is probably what works in his favor, as rather than catcalling or screaming out over the crowd, this man decides he’s just going to stand up and…
Flash the knight.
Yep, you read that right. This man stands up and pulls his shirt up, flashing his chest at the knight who immediately chucks a rose with pinpoint accuracy right at him. And said boyfriend catches the rose without issue, showing off his hard work proudly to all around.
You see what I mean by this would probably work for quite a few people, but it also wouldn’t quite be… legal, so make sure that you (and your friends) are drinking and knighting responsibly. Please.
