There is a small market for cameras. Value is best for high quality products, with unique features in best condition. Many collectors like to actually use the old cameras but film is becoming increasingly hard to find.
Brownie Hawkeye was produced from 1949 - 1961. The simple to use the camera was in a bakelite body and were very popular. Kodak Instamatics were made from 1963 - 1988 in a variety of styles with the X 15 being a late edition. There were approximately 50 million Instamatics made so that should give you a clue.
While the Brownie Hawkeye is very cute, it can be found at thrift stores and yard sales. Instamatics go for as little as $4.00 at thrift shops. Search around online and check out the average sold price. These are not items that you would have appraised.
