I have in my possession an engraving of the Holy Mother and Jesus from 1810. How can I find out the value of it?

The value of an item is what another person is prepared to pay for it. Even when a professional appraiser gives a valuation, he can only estimate what the picture might reasonably fetch at auction, or, if valuing an item for insurance purposes, he might suggest a replacement value (the retail price of a similar item bought from an antique dealer, or art dealer). If you are looking for a value in order to sell your item, then seek advice from an auction house or art dealer. You might also look at similar items on eBay to see if they sell, and if so, how much for.
